Frequently Asked Questions
Where Are You Located?
Our main clinic is conveniently located at 1610 Poly Drive, just across the street from Rocky Mountain College. Satellite clinics are also located in several cities and towns throughout the state. Feel free to ask us for additional information or directions to our office by phoning 406-259-1680.
Our pediatrician is recommending that our child receive services. Do you accept physician referrals?
Absolutely! We value the excellent relationships we have established with physicians and health care providers throughout our area. We can also provide updates to your doctor or pediatrician about the progress your child is making in therapy to ensure he or she stays fully informed.
Are your therapists medical doctors?
Each of our professionals has received specialized, intensive training in speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral analysis and other specialty services. While we are not physicians, many of our therapy team members possess post-graduate degrees in their area of expertise.
Do I need to attend all of my child’s therapy appointments?
We encourage parents and families to participate in the therapeutic process; however, we do not expect you to attend each session. Your child’s therapist, counselor, or analyst will talk to you about any appointments that your presence will be needed.
Are most therapies covered by private insurance?
Each insurance policy is different in terms of the types and amount of therapy covered. We encouraged parents and caregivers to speak with their insurance company about specific criteria. Please note that copayments and deductibles may apply.
My child has recently been diagnosed with autism. Does Montana law require insurance companies to cover treatment for autism?
In Montana, health insurance providers are required to cover costs for the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders for children 18 years old or younger. Coverage for treatment is currently limited to a maximum of $50,000 annually for a child with autism up to age 8, and up to $20,000 per year for children 9-18.
